Daily Lab: How do you help?
What’s your unique question?
For your content marketing to work, it’s got to help. Not just you, but the person seeing it.
But how do you figure that out? How do you make content that helps?
That’s tough, but here’s one way to look at it:
Ask yourself, “What’s my question? What question do I ask prospects or clients that no one else does?”
And then all you have to do is make content about that question.
Make a blog post, a newsletter, a video, a podcast, a LinkedIn post, or something else you know you’ll enjoy, and focus it on that question. Why it matters, and what its answers reveal.
That content will demonstrate your expertise by showing that you’ve been doing this long enough to have a perspective.
And it will also deliver value, just by asking the question, because it invites your audience to answer it themselves.
That’s what I just did. That question—the one about what question you ask no one else does—that’s my question.
It’s what I ask to help entrepreneurs like you uncover their true value.
So take a moment and answer it.
Because when you know the answer, you’ll know how to make content that helps.
