“There’s magic in choosing an audience that energizes and inspires you. You can’t wait to learn more about their challenges and figure out how to solve their most vexing problems.” — Rochelle Moulton, The Authority Code
Potentially the important lesson I’ve learned about strategy over the years is that people tend to do things they like, and they tend not to do things they don’t like (or at least they tend not to do them very well).
Groundbreaking, I know.
But what it means is that everything gets easier, more fun, and more profitable when you focus exclusively on the problems you like solving most for the clients who like the way you do it best.
Doesn’t that sound more fun?
Doesn’t that sound like something you’d throw your whole effort behind, gladly?
