Daily Lab: Your old marketing hasn’t spoiled
Good marketing keeps.
Re-energize your marketing and it can work again. Some marketing expires, but most doesn’t spoil.
Sometimes, things get in the way and we don’t get any marketing done for a while.
Maybe our blog posts slowed to a stop. Or we haven’t gotten around to posting on LinkedIn for a while.
Maybe we stopped running our ads, or are taking a break from networking events.
Whatever it is you’ve stopped or paused, just remember: you can always start it up again.
Your previous marketing efforts haven’t spoiled, they can still work. You just need to heat them up again, add some energy back into the system, and get them back out there.
No make-up efforts or self-criticism, just renewed energy.
If it’s been a while since you’ve been on LinkedIn, comment on someone else’s post today. That’s it.
If your blog has gone dark, write an outline for a very short post today about something in your business you’re excited about. And only that.
If you’ve paused your ads, write down who you’d like to target with a new campaign. And nothing more.
Don’t try to do everything at once—that’s probably why you paused in the first place.
Instead, do as little as possible for as long as you can.
Re-energize your marketing, make a plan to get it back out into the world, and notice how well it can still work.
