Patience is productive — Kelford Labs Daily
Marketing takes time.

When I want my marketing to work faster, I usually look for something to do.
Don’t you?
We want to be moving, we want to be active. We want to be productive.
We tell ourselves we need another course to take to tell us what to do. Another notebook to buy to fill with our big ideas. Another spreadsheet to make, or template to download, to keep us on top of everything.
Even though the last 10 didn’t do anything for us, we have a secret hope that the next one will.
But, sometimes, we’ve got to remember that patience is productive.
Often, what our marketing needs is not more activity, not more effort, not more exertion, not even more money.
But more time.
Good marketing, based on demonstrating our value at a distance, compounds over time. It starts slow, but it grows and grows.
Yes, we need to look for the indicators that tell us it’s likely to eventually work. There’s no point in sticking to something that can’t.
But if it can work, the only thing we may need to do is give it the time to work.
Which means, patience isn’t about waiting and wishing.
It might actually be the best thing we can do for our marketing.
