This is the difficult part — Kelford Labs Daily

Tomorrow, a podcast I was a guest on is getting released.

And I’m nervous about it.

Does it have a massive, global audience? Nope, it’s pretty local.

Did I do a bad job? No, as far as I know, it went great.

Do I not like the sound of my own voice? Are you kidding me? I live to hear myself talk.

So why am I nervous? For the same reason we all are, when we put ourselves out there: Because what if someone doesn’t like it?

Honestly, I think fear of judgment might be the number one thing holding entrepreneurs back from being more active with their marketing.

What will my peers think? My competitors? My family? My friends? My nemeses?

But that’s part of the cost of doing business—worrying that people won’t like how we do it, or how we promote it.

The hard part is rarely our work, it’s usually talking about our work.

But tomorrow I’m going to promote the absolute heck out of this thing, because I demonstrated my value. I spoke directly to my ideal clients. And I gave useful advice I know people can benefit from.

That was the fun part.

Now comes the hard part.

But I can do it.
