What to write about today — Kelford Labs Daily

What are you going to make your marketing content about today?

I ask because, just the other day, a client asked how I’m able to write a newsletter every weekday. Surely I’d run out of ideas by now?

And, sure, sometimes they can be a struggle. But, usually, they come to me fairly easily, because I can always ask myself these questions:

“What do they need to hear today?” and “What do I need to hear today?”

When you understand your prospect, your ideal client, your audience for your content, it’s easy to think of things you might want to share with them. Ways you might be able to help.

And when you take your work, your process, and your practice seriously, you know there are always ways you can improve. Always suggestions you could onboard yourself at the same time you share them with others.

So if you don’t know what to make your content about, make it about that:

Either something you know your ideal clients would benefit from today, or something you want to remind yourself about.

Today’s newsletter is a mixture of both, for me. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write, so I asked myself what might help you, and in doing so I reminded myself of something important:

When you know your ideal client, you know what they need.

And I know my ideal clients want to know what to say, so, today, that’s exactly what I’ve given you.

You say what they need to hear, or what you do.
