If you were put in a room with your ideal client, and they expressed curiosity about your business, what would you say?

What could you tell them that might interest them?

What could you tell them that would make them more curious?

What could you point out about your business that might surprise them?

What could you tell them that would make them realize you’re the right business for their needs?

You might be thinking, “But what do I know about them? How could I know what to say if I don’t know anything about their needs?”

And, well, exactly.

The art of marketing to a mass audience comes down to our ability to demonstrate our value to an individual.

Which means we need to know what our ideal, individual client needs. What they want. What they don’t want and don’t care about.

Once we know that, we’re well on our way to knowing what to say to them.

And once we know what to say to one person, we know what to say to everyone else.
